Stop Kilworthy Asphalt Plant

We, the petitioners request Gravenhurst Council Members to vote NO to the Re-xoning application by Miller Paving/McClellan Sand and Gravel on lands municipally known as 1477 Highway 11 Sout (Application No. ZA 38-2013) in order to build Asphalt and Redi-Mix Concrete plants on the site.

Numerous issues which include health, traffic, economic and environmental make this a danger to our community. There are other, better places to locate this type of business that don't put families in danger. Also, it would sit next to Kahshe River and South Kahshe River and numerous wetlands which are home to an endangered species.
