The choir teacher who not only taught us, but touched our heart.

Choir connects the kids that are considered loners, outcast, or even ones that like connecting with people. It’s a shame that they might get rid of it. Like choir is a second family to most. It’s a place where no one is afraid to be themselves because you know they accept you. Choir is family. Mr. Roberts was an amazing choir teacher. But truthfully he was way more than that. He was a friend. He’s like the only teacher I’ve EVER had that truly cares about his students for more than how much money you had or if they’re socially acceptable. He taught us more than just school curriculum. He taught us about life and how we could be ourselves. I believe just because a teacher has tenure, doesn’t mean they can take a job away from someone whom the kids absolutely bond with. He was one of the kids he really touched our hearts and made everyone who crossed his path feel and love music and that’s just a few of the many reasons why the students at Franklin Simpson High School believe Mr. Jeremy Roberts should have his job back.
