Pinus Elliotti (Dade County Slash Pine) suffers damages and is dying due to negligence.

Once a beautiful standing and healthy 50+ year neighborhood Dade County Slash Pine tree has been damaged and is dying due to rubbish and construction materials surrounding said pine tree. Negligence and poor project management has been the cause for this beautiful pine tree decay. If this project called Sarto Green site in the City of Coral Gables, Florida, had been properly attended to and the project contractor would have kept the scheduled finish due date, this tree would still be standing and had not suffered at all. We should stop all construction of this site for further damage to our protected Florida habitat. Our Neighborhood is extremely concerned that our protected birds, squirrels and other wild native Florida animals surrounding this area may also suffer from this negligence and for not keeping this site up to Florida Standard Landscape codes.
