Safety in our Neighborhood.

This year alone we have had 3 hit and runs during the middle of the night. We leave our vehicles parked in our neighborhood street confident that they are safe. Yet, when we are awaken by the screeching sound of tires and engines going full throttle in a family neighborhood is very disturbing. We are scared to let our kids ride their bicycles due to safety issues. It has become very disturbing that due to the various local bars surrounding our neighborhood has produced too much vehicle damage. Therefore we are requesting that something gets done. We would appreciate speed bumps be located throughout our blocks and police cameras be inserted in allies to help prevent drunk drivers from hitting and running. Our community deserves some peace of mind while we sleep. So please join the cause by signing on to our petition. Help make our neighborhood safe.
