Prevent Atlantic Seismic Testing

  • af: Alyssa Cochran

Seismic testing is dangerous to marine life and fishing jobs, and should not be allowed on the east coast. The extremely loud, continual blasts are known to kill marine mammals and fish and would irreparably harm the economy and ecology of the Atlantic Coast. I would like to protect marine mammals, fish, and the coastal economy from this dangerous form of oil and gas exploration.

We ask the Board of Alderman of Wrightsville Beach to write a resolution condemning seismic testing on the east coast.
