We request that Manjimup Shire take immediate action on climate change.

In response to the ever growing calls for immediate and concerted action, locally and globally and to address the growing climate and ecological crises that the Earth is confronted with we require the Manjimup Shire to respond to this crisis in the following ways:

1. Recognise, acknowledge and declare a climate and ecological emergency.

2. Begin immediate planning and action to transition our Shire to renewable energy and carbon neutrality.

3. Lead our Shire and our communities to an equitable, resilient and sustainable future.

There is no more time for pretending, it is time for action.
