Save the Northern White Rhino From Extinction!

Sudan, the world's last male northern white rhino, has died. The 45-year-old rhino had been living in Ol Pejeta Conservancy in Kenya, where a team of veterinarians were treating him for age-related ailments and infections before finally deciding to euthanize him. The devastating loss leaves just two female northern white rhinos left - and many wondering what the fate of the species will be.

The situation is dire, but they're not extinct yet. Please sign this petition to save the northern white rhino!

Northern white rhinos used to roam across East and Central Africa in large numbers, but they're population has diminished over the years. They've been particularly vulnerable to poaching, habitat loss, and strife in the area. Everything must be done to protect the two remaining northern white females -- Fatu and Najin, Sudan's daughter and granddaughter. Thankfully, they are both in good health, but we must now protect them from the many threats that have nearly wiped out the species.

According to reports, there may also be ways to still increase northern white rhino numbers. These efforts must be explored and carried out as long as they can be done humanely.
