Madden Cove petition against variance

We, the resident members of Madden Cove Home Owner's Association unanimously request that the variance sought for property located at 160 Minnehaha Road be denied. The variance, if granted, would be detrimental to our property values as well as those of neighboring communities.  Moreover, granting of the variance would ignore the city's long-standing objective of maintaining minimal standards for lakefront property and encourage similar request in the future.

Maintaining the subject property as it is currently configured, without variance or sub-divison, is in the best interest of surrounding properties and the city of Maitland.
