Save Australian Creeks From Landfill Contamination

Residents who live near the Mangrove Mountain landfill in New South Wales report seeing dirty water running off the facility. So why is the Environmental Protection Authority allowing the landfill to be expanded? The Authority has inspected the landfill for violations that compromise local waterways, but locals vehemently disagree that the agency has measured the landfill's threat to nearby Hallards Creek and Stringybark Creek. Please join me in asking the Environmental Protection Authority to conduct a more thorough investigation to determine whether this landfill can be safely expanded.

To the Environmental Protection Authority:

We the undersigned are concerned about reports coming from residents living near the Mangrove Mountain landfill in New South Wales. Some of these residents are quite certain that the contaminated water is running off the landfill. Such run off poses a terrible threat to local waterways, especially the nearby Hallards and Stringybark Creeks. And it appears that the landfill has been proposed for expansion. We implore you to conduct a more thorough investigation to determine whether this landfill can be safely expanded.
