Stop the Sale of Sharks Fins and Sharks Fin Soup in the UK

Despite significant public outrage at the brutality of the shark finning industry, the sale of shark's fin soup in the UK remains completely legal.  There are numerous well documented reasons for discontinuing the trade, including animal welfare, health, ecological and nutritional reasons.  The government recently started an Early Days Motion to stop the trade of Sharks Fin within the UK -   http://www.parliament.uk/edm/2012-13/1042
