Merthyr Tydfil Littering Issue

As many of you might know, Merthyr Tydfil is facing quite a serious littering issue. Many streets and parks are filled with empty soda cans, plastic wrappings and more. There are also areas where the littering is much more severe, such as Abermorlais Terrace, where fly tipping has left the area covered in litter and since the litter is located on a slope near a river, it would be quite difficult and hazardous to clean. This litter is very dangerous to the environment and can affect many different ecosystems. As a lot of litter ends up in the River Taff where it can damage the river's ecosystem.

The solution to this problem is raising awareness about the issue, and persuading the residents of Merthyr Tydfil to take action, and fight back against the littering problem. This can be by going litter picking, or even just spreading awareness. Every little bit helps.
