Demand the FDA research the safety of BPA-free plastics

After word got out about the dangers associated with BPA, many parents and individuals began opting for BPA-free plastic bottles and containers. However, these BPA-free plastics may be just as dangerous as the ones containing BPA.

BPA was found to have estrogen-mimicking properties, and it appears that BPA-free plastics have these same properties.  Synthetic estrogen is associated with a number of health issues, including cancer, and can affect brain and organ development in children and fetuses.  What’s shocking is that BPA-free plastics have not been researched to determine their safety.

Demand the FDA research the safety of BPA-free plastics, so consumers are able to make informed decisions in avoiding potentially harmful products.
