Use SPLOST 4 taxes as promised and complete the overdue expansion of Henderson Middle School

- Henderson Middle School is 16 years overdue for conversion to a Middle School

- There remains no proper ADA compliant access to Henderson Middle School, a school which regularly serves inclusion students

- Henderson Middle school relies on no less than 17 trailers to compensate for overcrowding, the most of any school in the county

- Henderson Middle School was recently moved down the list behind the expansion/renovation of three elementary schools, at least one of which was expanded within the last 10 years and remains below capacity

- Dekalb County continues to rely upon Henderson Middle School as one of three transportation hubs, exacerbating poor parking and pavement conditions that are addressed in existing expansion plans

- We need the Dekalb County School System to invest dollars in work that will serve the greatest number of students by giving repair, renovation and expansion of Henderson Middle School highest priority for SPLOST 4 funding.
