People should sign because implementing philosophy into the curriculum at a young age develops critical thinking skills that allow the student from an early age to be able to rationally and logically think about a situation or question and critically think about how it might affect themselves or others. By providing the tools to critically think; confidence, overall intelligence, and deeper understanding of themselves and others occurs providing a more rigid base for which to build knowledge on.
