Tell B.C. School Districts to Follow Agreement and Pay Teachers

After the B.C. Teacher's Federation and the Ministry of Education reached an agreement, teachers were given September 19th as a paid day to prepare for their students.  However, some school districts are refusing to pay their teachers for this day.

The agreement clearly states that "Friday will be a paid day", referring to September 19th.  Despite this, some school districts are viewing paying their teachers for this day of work as option.  B.C. School Districts need to follow the agreement and compensate their teachers for this day of work.

Tell B.C. School Districts to follow the collective agreement and pay teachers!
