Allow Phones In school

How many of you have been told to put your phone away and you just roll your eyes? Having your phone out is really not that big of a deal. It does not affect our school work and it doesnt bother anybody else. Turning it on silent will prevent distractions in the work place. When teachers spend time worrying about, looking for and confiscating phones they spend less time teaching and worrying about school work. When a student has his phone taken, he doesnt learn to put it away, he just learns that the teacher is "mean" and will give him/her more attitude.
