Remove sand from Neswick street park

To anyone who lives around this area will know the daily worry of our children playing in Neswick street park, I for one am fed up with the broken bottles of vodka buried into the sand and even worse drug users using in the park for our children, worrying that our children will find something get hurt or even hit by a needle.
I'm starting this petition as I would like to get the sand removed from the park to make it a safer play area for all the children, like any child once they see sand it's shoes and socks off and play in the sand but how do we know what is buried in this sand!!!
If these drug/drink users continue to use our parks whos child will it be to get hurt will it mine or yours??!
