The Next Steps to Safer Schools in CT

As a community, we need to call to action a plan to change the security in our schools to ensure our children are safe. It is clear that the recent tragedy that occurred at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Newtown could happen anywhere. Senseless violence took the lives of 26 individuals, 20 of those being children.

Our schools security, policies and procedures need to change, and the only way that’s going to happen is if we all band together to make our voice heard. Bring your thoughts and ideas to the Board of Education Meeting on January 8th, 2013 at 7pm (location, TBA), where this petition will be presented.
