No Gun Violence on Campuses

On February 14th, 2018, 19 year old Nikolas Cruz walked into a Florida high school and opened fire, killing 17 people. Cruz had previously been reported through a tip to the FBI for terroristic threats, however, no investigation was made. This is just one of seven shootings occurring in the US in the first two months of 2018. I propose that students attending Northwest ISD schools participate in a peaceful protest on April 20th, 2018, the anniversary of the Columbine massacre. We will wear orange and sit outside our respective campus and contact our local representatives to demand an end to campus gun violence.
