Stop the Spread of Deforestation in the Amazon

Deforestation in the Amazon is a huge issue currently affecting the globe, in a multitude of ways. The Amazon is a unique environment, home to many endemic plants, wildlife, and structures aside from the obvious copious resources. However, as the Amazon gradually disappears, so too are the indigenous flora and fauna that call the rainforest home. Many species have gone extinct already. And while gathering resources for human advancement is in many ways a carnal impulse and purpose, we must fight to preserve and restore our great plant. Enforce strict laws about logging, and attempt to plant trees and plants to restore the damage that has been done. Spread awareness about the direct and indirect causes to raise public pressure.
