High School Boys and Girls sports should be treated equally

I am a softball player at Plainfield North High School. I was put on varsity as a sophomore and I noticed that the boys varsity baseball team was getting first pick for the weight room and training days. They also got nicer fields and stands compared to girls varsity. It started to frustrate me because during the season we had asked for a new scoreboard and as our varsity team got second in state we still hadn't received the scoreboard when the baseball team got it right away. I am a junior now and we are still waiting for the scoreboard. So I thought of this petition because it is something that is happening at many other schools, where girls sports are being diminished because of the sex or because they are not as popular.I want people to see this and I want schools to treat both sides equal even if one is not better then the other. They deserve the same opportunities as the boys.
