Homework causes an open door to stress for parents and the student wich means Homework does not create a positive change in student learning. Studies have proved that Homework does not impact a student in a good way at home or in school. Homework causes a great amount of stress on students young to old, and students should not have to deal with such stress and pressure wich is very unhealthy mentally and physically especially in the younger class. Homework has a negative impact on kids from elementary to college; for example when students do not have time to complete an assignment it leaves them worried so they take the easy route and fill it up with random answers wich does not help in teaching in any way. And there are punishments to not completing homework wich causes more stress towards students. And it's good enough that students go to school 8 hours a day then bring school to home for a few more hours leaving the day gone and wich means students have no actual life. Homework also causes great tension between the student to parent or even parent to faculty/teacher. There is way more evidence proven scientifically but those are major reasons why students should not have to have homework.
