Pledge to recycle more!

We should all recycle as much as we can to preserve our planet's precious resources and to divert items away from landfill sites.

If your council operates a kerbside recycling scheme for paper, cardboard, plastic bottles, cans and so on, take advantage of it and check to see if there are bottle banks, clothing banks etc nearby.  Also, don't forget to recycle batteries and electrical items!  When you go shopping, look for products made from recycled paper and plastic.

Compost your fruit and vegetable peelings, tea bags and any other suitable material too.
