Get Holliston Public Schools To Switch To Paper Straws

In the small town of Holliston Massachusetts kids buy their lunch and grab a plastic straw without thinking twice. But when thousands of other kids around the world do the same thing, it produces a lot of waste. Many kids don’t even need to use a straw, and many take multiple straws when they only need one. I think if we convinced the school to get paper straws we would produce a lot less waste. What worries me the most is that not many other students are concerned about this. I think if we switched to paper straws it would make people aware of the important topic of climate change. It’s not that hard to sign this petition and help make a change for the better
