STOP CLOSURE OF NIAGARA EQUESTRIAN TRAIL

This petition is to stop the closure of the Equestrian Trail.

“There are less and less places to ride.”

We are approaching the city council to request reconsideration of the decision

We strongly oppose the City of Welland’s decision to close the East Side Trail and feel that this is a giant step backwards in the development of Welland’s parks and recreation initiatives, as well as health and well-being of their citizens and population of Niagara as a whole.

The city’s “wash-our-hands-of-it approach” does not provide a viable solution to meet the needs of the community and instead will create resentment between all parties involved.
