We know that great teaching equals student success. In fact, research shows that if a group of students performing around the 50th percentile at the start of third grade are assigned three years with great teachers, they rise to the 77th percentile. However, if those same students are assigned three years of ineffective teachers, they end up performing in the 25th percentile.
