Three children in every classroom in the UK are living with a mental illness each year. It's time we found out why.

It means that for many school children like Sophie, pictured, we can't get them the help they deserve. We're lacking the tools to tackle their mental illness before it takes over their lives.

At MQ we're funding pioneering research to change this. We're investing in cutting-edge science that can find out how and why mental illness occurs in the first place.
