Save the Endangered Species Act

Congress is considering HR 2603, which aims to exclude non-U.S. species from the most basic protections of the Endangered Species Act. This includes Africa's most vulnerable species, like elephants and rhinos.

They're calling it the SAVES Act, but the only thing this bill protects is wildlife traffickers' profits.

The damage doesn't stop there. HR 2603 will make it harder to catch and punish wildlife criminals. It loosens the rules for interstate commerce of ivory and undermines the United States' leadership in protecting wildlife.

If we don't stop this bill now, elephants and other treasured species will lose critical protections, and poachers will be motivated to ramp up their operations.

Take action now. Send a message to Congress that we care about Africa's wildlife and we want HR 2603 stopped now!
