Stop Tiger Abusers from Opening Another Brutal Zoo!

Last year, the exploitative zoo Tiger Temple was exposed for presenting itself as a sanctuary and Buddhist Temple. Tiger Temple had faced accusations of brutality and black market tiger sales for years, and they were confirmed. Now, Tiger Temple is reopening under the name Golden Tiger (Thailand) Co Ltd.

When previously raided, 40 tiger cubs were found stuffed in a freezer, along with other animal body parts. Other investigations show they were living terrible lives even before tigers died or sold to the black market. Former workers confirmed that for nearly 20 hours a day, tigers were forced into shockingly small, concrete cages, then sedated before being used for tourist's entertainment. Workers also noted that that if the tigers did not do as told, they were often beaten into submission by the monks who operate the zoo.

Not all tigers even make it that far from Tiger Temple. Many were illegally sold on the black market to China or Laos. Baby cubs were ripped from their mothers at too young of an age, suffering traumatically.

And now, the same people and company with the same intentions will reopen the tiger zoo, simply with a new name.

Golden Tiger will exploit these innocent animals in the same way Tiger Temple did: by mistreating them, abusing them, and killing and selling many of them. Sign today to tell the Thailand Government: do not let Golden Tiger open and continue to beat and abuse tigers!
