Give Children a Choice For a Better Education and Future

New York City families living in poverty are trapped by a lack of choices. These parents want better lives for their children, but a quality education and real opportunities for their children are out of reach. Too often, their children don't get the attention they need in public schools, but the family can't afford the alternatives.

Inner-City Scholarship Fund (ICSF) transforms the lives of thousands of these families with tuition assistance so their children can attend good, urban Catholic schools. The students -- 93% minority and more than 2/3 living at or below the poverty line -- develop a love of learning and a values-based education.

This spring, more than 200 ICSF-supported students are defying the odds by earning a HS diploma. 95 percent of them will pursue a college education. Completing this journey takes not just money but also reassurance.
