Our Society and Policies must be adjusted to a degree of Desertification, which is when fertile land becomes a desert,in, to which we may gravely face. Early stage, or even minor, we shan't hold this underwater for any longer. Changing our ecosystem has 4 main services, Provisioning service, which are the products obtained by the ecosystem, food,water, fiber and medicine.
Regulating services, benefits from regulation of ecosystem process such that of; pollination, decomposition, water purification, erosion and flood control, and carbon storage and climate regulation.
Cultural Services, which includes non-material benefits, such as, recreational, spiritual, aesthetic, and even cognitive development
Supporting Services, which is necessary for all other production of all other ecosystem services: biomass production, atmospheric oxygen, soil formation, soil retention, nutrient cycle, and water cycling.
