Tell Congress to hold the Keystone Pipeline oil company accountable for the worst oil spill in 10 years!

For years, activists warned that TC Energy's Keystone Pipeline would be an environmental disaster — and they've sadly been proven to have been absolutely right. An oil pipeline failure has dumped over half a million gallons of crude tar sands oil into Kansas' Mill Creek. It's the biggest oil leak in the United States since 2010.

While thankfully no drinking water sources have been contaminated, this is the third time that the Keystone 1 pipeline has experienced a major spill. "There is no such thing as a safe tar sands pipeline and this is another disaster that continues to prove we must put our climate and our communities first," says Catherine Collentine of the Sierra Club.

It's long past time that Congress began holding these oil giants accountable for the damage their pipelines do to the environment and our communities.
