Help Save Our Bees and the Planet

Toxic pesticides called neonicotinoids, or "neonics," are killing bees and putting 1/4 of what we eat at risk – as everything from apples to watermelon depends on bee pollination.

American beekeepers reported an estimated loss of 44 percent of their hives last year. Congress must put an end to this crisis. Tell Congress to pass the "Saving America's Pollinators Act."
I am writing to ask you to support Representatives Conyers' and Blumenauer's Saving America's Pollinators Act of 2015 (HR. 1284.)

Critical pollinators like bees are declining at alarming rates, and the use of systemic pesticides called neonicotinoids could be to blame.

Neonicotinoids are the most widely used insecticides in the world, and research has shown that their use has a fatal impact on bees. Other countries have taken steps to limit the use of these toxins - now it's time for the United States to take similar action.
