Broome, Stand Strong on Dolphin Slaughter!

Under intense pressure from the Japanese government, the Shire Council of Broome, Australia, is considering reversing its stand to suspend its sister-city relationship with Taiji. Our sources indicate that the suspension is a key reason why the dolphin kills have been halted.

If the Shire Council reverses, the killing is likely to resume. We need your help today as the hearing is scheduled for tomorrow.

Dear Councilor,

Thank you for taking a stand against the brutal killing of thousands of dolphins in Japan. The recent no dolphin kill policy now being observed in Taiji is a direct result of your Shire's suspension of its sister-city ties with Taiji.

Please do not weaken your stand. At risk is a return to the slaughter of thousands of dolphins and sale of mercury-laden meat to the people of Japan.
