Remove 'forever chemicals' from our water and food packaging

Many North Carolinians have been exposed to a dangerous set of chemicals called PFAS, commonly known as 'forever chemicals,' for decades. Alarmingly, PFAS can also be found in everyday products, including food packaging.  Congress must support efforts to end 'forever chemical' pollution and to remove this toxic group of chemicals from food packaging.
I am concerned about the danger of PFAS pollution, especially as many North Carolinians have had high exposure to these toxic 'forever chemicals' for decades. I urge you to protect North Carolina communities by supporting efforts to remove these dangerous chemicals from our drinking water, food packaging, and the environment.
