Massachusetts: Close the Student Achievement Gap!

Consider this shocking statistic about the children in your state: Massachusetts ranks 46th of 50 states in the fourth grade reading gap between wealthy and poor students. Even worse, we rank LAST in the achievement gap for math.

What causes this incredible disparity between wealthy and poor students? Whatever it is, it needs to be addressed immediately by our legislators.

We need to make sure that all students have access to quality education. All students should be able to thrive and succeed in school - regardless of how much money their parents have.

This election season, tell your elected officials to close the staggering achievement gap between wealthy and poor students in Massachusetts.
