Stand Up For The Places You Love

Dredging waste dumped in the Great Barrier Reef, grazing in the Victorian Alps, logging ancient Tasmanian forests — the places you love are under threat from big industry.

Australia's unique and precious natural places deserve strong protection by the law. We have a responsibility to secure it for future generations. But instead of being scaled up, our environmental laws are being watered down — all to benefit big business.

Right now the federal government is preparing to handover the laws that protect our special places to state governments — governments reliant on revenue from environmentally damaging industries like the mining industry.

We've already seen what this looks like. State governments in Queensland, New South Wales and Victoria are allowing their national parks to be opened up to logging, shooting, mining and dredging.

State governments have shown they cannot be trusted to protect the places you love. We need all political parties to stand up for stronger environmental laws.

Will you join our campaign today and help protect the places you love?
