Robert Wilkerson, 26, of Conway, has been charged with theft of property and animal cruelty for allegedly destroying the dog.  We petition that he serve the longest jail term possible for animal abuse and mandatory psychological counseling.

Don Pace, dog guardian, claims "He pulled back and
wouldn't load up, so he shot him, took him to the other guy's house, they
skinned him, cooked him and they ate him, or he ate him."

The Attorney General's office says there is no law in Arkansas
that bans eating dog meat, but certain health codes may prohibit it.
Sheriff Gober says other arrests could be
coming.

We believe that when a person abuses an animal, they should go to jail.  This
man needs mandatory psychological counseling as well as paying restitution
to Don Pace for the loss of the dog's life.
