Don't Let Children Struggle in School Because of Hunger

Every day school teachers and administrators are faced with children who are not getting enough to eat at home. The result is hungry children who cannot concentrate in school.
The unfortunate reality is that for many kids, the food they get at school is the only warm meal they get on a daily basis and without the start of a good breakfast they are too hungry to focus in the classroom.
Right now 65% of America's teachers regularly see kids come to school hungry, kids who face an uphill battle to concentrate and succeed in school and life.
Many teachers and school officials have worked hard to support school breakfast and lunch programs at their schools so that their students can focus on their education, not their empty stomachs. That's the kind of solution students everywhere need and deserve.
With 1 in 5 children in the US struggling with hunger, we need school breakfast and lunch programs in every school across the country!
Take action today: Urge your representative to fully support school meal programs in your state to help our kids live up to their full potential!
