Demand GMO Labeling on the Package

We have a right to know about the food we eat and feed our families, but under current regulations, we don't have that ability when it comes to genetically engineered (GMO) foods.

The number and the variety of GMO foods reaching grocery store shelves has grown exponentially. In 2014, the Grocery Manufacturers Association estimated that GMOs are present in 75 to 80 percent of conventional processed food.

There's been no proper regulation, human health testing or labeling.

Instead of clear GMO labels on packaging, the Anti-Label Lobby is advocating for a system that would require consumers to scan a QR code to find out if the food they're buying contains GMOs. Americans should not have to own smartphones to know what's in their food or how it's grown.

Take action today if you want clear GMO labels on the package and not just QR codes. Send a message to FDA that you won't stand for Big Food's tricks and you want to see clear GMO labels on food packaging.
