Help Fight Childhood Hunger By Reauthorizing the Child Nutrition Act

When children are hungry, they can't learn. At this moment, an estimated 14 percent of American households are food insecure — that's a staggering 15.3 million children.

Boys & Girls Clubs across the country utilize the Summer Food Service Program and Child and Adult Care Program to serve healthy snacks and meals to youth after school and during the summer, all over the United States.
In 2017, 90 percent of Clubs reported serving more than 88 million snacks and meals at no cost to members. For some kids, this may be the only nutritious food they are able to enjoy in a day.

Hunger should never be what stands in a child's way. Support work to feed our kids by strengthening and expanding the efforts of USDA meal programs and reauthorizing the Child Nutrition Act. Together we can help all kids have a healthy, successful future.
