Save New Jersey's Clean Energy Program

New Jersey's clean energy programs have reduced pollution, saved households money and jumpstarted a clean energy economy in tough economic times. In fact, thanks to our investments, New Jersey has more solar energy than any state except California. With these investments have come green, local jobs like installing solar panels on homes and weatherizing buildings.

But now Governor Christie wants to raid more than $210 million in funding for can energy programs in this year's budget and pull out of the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI). Every year New Jersey sits out of RGGI, the state loses $40 million for clean energy. All told, Christie has robbed clean energy of almost $700 million since he took office.

State legislators have the power to prevent Christie's raid on clean energy, but they need to use it. Tell the New Jersey legislature to stand up to Christie and block his raids on clean energy programs.
SUBJECT: Hands Off Clean Energy Funding

Dear [Decision Maker],

I urge you to strongly oppose Gov. Christie's clean energy raid of over $210 million in this year's budget. New Jersey should be advocating for clean energy - not cutting it to the bone.
