The Otter is alone the most part of it's life and it marks it's territory with stink marks. Nowadays the Otter is to be seen as very rare in the whole country and because of the protection the population has slowly increased. But there are always people which don't care anything and those people we have to get caught.

Elsewhere in Europe the situation is worse.

The Otter likes the flooding waters. It is night animal and very good swimmer which preythe food from the water. The fur is good insulator against the frost and wet. The thick fur will be wet while swimming on the top but the under fur is dry.
