Tell the EPA: Act on Climate Change

Climate change is the transformation that transforms everything -- and none of us, no individual or nation, rich or poor, can escape the urgent responsibility of this moment.

In Maryland, we crafted the most aggressive plan in the country to combat climate change because we cannot become a more prosperous state, or nation, without the living systems upon which our prosperity depends. President Obama recently announced a plan to reduce carbon pollution from existing power plants.

But now it's time for national action.

Sign Gov. Martin O'Malley's petition urging the Environmental Protection Agency to take strong action to reduce carbon pollution.
To Whom it May Concern,

Please move forward with the proposed rule to reduce carbon emissions 30% by the year 2030.
