Pokemon Players Against TPCi's VGC Entry Method

To All Pokemon Players:
As you may or may not know, The Pokemon Company International (TPCi) has been hosting Competitions for people using the newest game: Pokemon Platinum Version.

While TPCi has gone all out on these events, giving trips, hotel stays, and prizes of an estimated high dollar value, that have been spread across the United States and Europe, the way a person is entered into these Tournaments is nothing short of a lottery.

People who enter into the tournament get a number, and then TPCi will randomly select 128 numbers. Many players come from all over the country to attend these tournaments, some driving 14 hours, and many of them get turned away due to random means.

We the players feel that the means of entry is unfair and propose the the following methods:

• Increase or remove the 128 player cap to give more people the chance to compete.

• Increase the amount of tournaments to help alleviate the amount of people per tournament.

• Have people enter prior to the tournament via the internet, and select the players before the tournament date to inform the entrant if they where selected to play or not.

We ask that TPCi listen to us players on this matter and take the options given in this Petition consideration for future Tournaments for the Pokemon Video Game.
