Demand A Donor & Volunteer Elected Board of Directors for Kitsap Humane Society at the March 24 Open House and Public Meeting 3-5PM. Demand our support be represented.
The Kitsap Humane Society Board of Directors has abused funds and is covering up the facts by cleaning house. Over 10 staff members are losing their jobs this year because of their misuse of construction funds and catering to their own businesses or friendship interests.
This is the last in a long line of abuses in the last decade, resulting into repeated impact upon the animals and supporters of the shelter. We give our funds and time yet they do not donate their own funds even. They do not touch the animals, and mostly they do not adopt animals. (a document showed the majority bought purebreeds and the president is a Breeder herself)
The Invisible Fence Franchise she owns has been tied deeply into the nonprofit charity, along with a select group of contractors she runs with Chaffey Homes owner Tom Chaffey. Every one of them however has tied their businesses and relations into their decisions rather than those they parade around us at the annual auction.
Former board members have been silenced, staff are fired every year secretly. Stand up and be heard and demand an elected board representing the donors and volunteers.
