Yesterday news broke that federal employees responsible for regulating the oil and gas industry were receiving gifts, trips, golf outings and even drugs and sexual favors from the very oil companies they were responsible for regulating.
Now some in Congress seem intent on doing their own special favors for the oil industry with a proposal they call "all of the above"--all drilling, everywhere, all the time.
In the coming days, Congress begins voting on a new set of energy bills that if passed will give more rewards to Big Oil at an even greater expense to us all.
Big Oil's scheme would drill the entire U.S. coastline, the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge and promote so called "liquid coal" causing even more global warming pollution.
Ask Congress to break us free of Big Oil's grip and put America on the path toward a clean and secure energy future.
The clean energy solutions that reduce our dependence on fossil fuels are the same technologies that will also solve global warming, clean the air and help protect America's natural resources for our children's future.
