LVN's to RN's in California

 TO ALL NURSES Many years ago in California, an LVN/LPN could challenge the Board of Registered Nurses for examination. That has been outlawed. Nurses from overseas are now being sponsored by corporations thus limiting our prospects. With the Nursing shortage, lets petition our States to allow for LVN/LPN's to "CHALLENGE" the RN Board of Nursing. Experience matters, I believe LN/LPN's with 10 plus years experience should be granted this opportunity. It will help stop the Nursing shortage and open up the local colleges and Universities all over.
