The shelter is located at the edge of the river Tevere, near Roma, in a zone where a couple of raindrops can endanger the life of 200 dogs. In that cases the dogs have miraculously been saved thanks to the collaboration of soldiers, citizens, lambs'volunteers and so on... 200 dogs have been evacuated in a few hours. A new location has been built ( sort of impromptu kennel in a hangar of the military aeronautics for 90 dogs). NEXT TIME THEY WILL BE 200 DOGS TO DIE DROWNED. A new shelter for our stray dogs, in a new location must be build, in time to save our dogs from a horrible dead.
LAMBS-lega animalista onlus - canile di monterotondo.Nel mese di dicembre 2008 e movembre 2009 i cani del canile hanno rischiato LA STRAGE . La struttura sta al ridosso del fiume Tevere,in una zona di esondazione.I cani sono stati miracolosamente salvati grazie alla collaborazione di militari,cittadini,volontari improvvisati tali,etc . Il canile %uFFFD stato evacuato in poche ore. E' stata costruita una struttura capace di ospitare 90 cani in meno di 2 ore. Ospitati in un hangar della aeronautica militare.
Altri sono stati messi in pensioni, altri in case private etc.
Questo è stato il secondo grande allarme in quattro anni . LA PROSSIMA VOLTA 250 MORIRANNO AFFOGATI !! 2.500 presenze per scongiurare il pericolo.

L'associazione Lambs - lega animalista,gestisce il canile di monterotondo,dove sono ospitati 200 cani che provengono da storie di abbandono o malattia.Il desiderio dei molti volontari che prestano la loro opera gratuitamente per 365 giorni l'anno quello di realizzare il sogno di un nuovo canile lontano dall'incubo dell'esondazione del fiume tevere.Chiediamo al sindaco di Monterotondo,agli assessori ed a tutti i cittadini di fare uno sforzo per trovare in sito adatto a costruire un nuovo canile,sicuro e che possa garantire una vita serena a tutti i cani ospitati.

Lambs- the animal lovers volonteers organization is running the monterotondo shelter in which houses 200 dogs that come from histories of abandonement or illness .the desire of many volunteers who lend their work for free for 365 days a year to realize the dream of a new shelter safer and far away from the nightmare of the river Chiediamo the mayor of Monterotondo, and all the citizens to make an effort to find suitable site to build a new shelter, safe, which can ensure a civil right to all our beloved dogs
