This petition is in regards to a serious matter. Santa Clara County District Attorney Sanderson, Dept 88 Palo Alto, California, thinks it is ok to send NON-VIOLENT drug offenders to prison for 25 years to life. We want to send a message to him and Judge Rise J. Pichon that as tax payers and people of the state of California: it is not ok, especially in the case of Zion David Mykel Hall. PETITION FOR DAVID M. HALL
JULY 2008
To Whom It May Concern:
This is a petition on the matter of David Michael Hall PFN DNJ192 CFN 07071288.
I am a taxpayer of the state of California. It is my understanding that Mr. Hall has two previous strikes as a juvenile and is now facing a third for a non-violent related offense.
I do not agree with how the three strikes law is being applied in this matter, and find it excessive the state representing the people would send someone to prison for 25 years to life for a non-violent drug related charge.
It is my opinion that Mr. Hall would better serve his debt to society on the county level and in a community based rehabilitation program.
